Unusual sodium current trace for tenTusscherPanfilov cell model
The issues were encountered in openCARP v11
1. The INa current trace is low for the builtin tenTusscherPanfilov.model
2. Scaling factors that modify the INa current seem to change the sodium trace in the wrong direction
For the custom model, a scaling factor was added to a renamed-copy of the built-in tenTusscherPanfilov.model as follows:
scf_GNa=0.5; .param();
GNa=14.838*scf_GNa;
INa=GNa*M*M*M*H*J*(V-Ena); .trace();
The expected baseline trace was around -350 pA/pF. The expected modification was a decrease in sodium current magnitude (less negative current). However, the sodium current trace plotted from its respective column in the Trace_x.dat file showed almost a doubled current. Conversely, when scf_GNa=2, the sodium trace approximately halved.
(Scaling all other currents produced their expected results.)
