Metadata of updated publications on Zenodo

As I understand, FACILE-RS uses the metadata from the codemeta.json file to fill the metadata fields of a deposit on Zenodo - @m.houillon is that correct?

If so, the issue we have with that in combination with the "update publication" feature of version 3.3.0 is as follows: it makes perfect sense for new depositions but maybe not so much for existing depositions that should get updated. While some fields should of course be consistent (e.g. authors), for other fields this seems inappropriate, at least to me right now - take for instance the "description" field, which might be a huge blob of HTML within the Zenodo deposit - this could probably go into the codemeta file but would it make sense?

More generally speaking, if we populate the Zenodo deposit exclusively with codemeta.json fields, there should be a 1:1 mapping of codemeta to Zenodo deposit fields, no?
